Our Video Creation Process
The journey to seeking the truth requires transparency and intellectual honesty. In the age of AI slop, we want our viewers to know why they should trust us. We have outlined our process for topic selection, research, scriptwriting, and video production.
Topic Selection and Research
AI does not write our theology or determine our biblical interpretation. Every core answer is researched, evaluated, and finalized by humans.
Sourcing Questions
We gather potential topics from real-world doubts, discussions, popular video comments, online forums, search analytics, and AI research. Humans review each potential question and choose which topics to address.
Research Process
Our own experience and study guide the research process. We use Bible software (which includes concordances, commentaries, and other resources) to examine how scholars throughout history have addressed these passages. We also use search engines and AI tools to gather additional information, such as historical and cultural context related to the period. Any information gathered with AI is reviewed by humans and manually incorporated into our notes as deemed appropriate.
Human Control
Humans review and evaluate all findings, and curate key truths into a comprehensive core answer draft.

Scriptwriting and Storytelling
A well-crafted answer does not automatically make an engaging video. To make complex theological concepts clear, accessible, and engaging, we structure our videos as narrative conversations.
Main Characters
Our videos typically feature two main characters: Ethan, a new Christian struggling with real doubts and questions, and Pastor Mike, a mentor who encourages Ethan to dig deeper and seek biblical truth.
Crafting Dialogue
We identify likely objections to the core answer, using our own experience alongside AI tools to brainstorm natural questions Ethan might ask.
Editorial Control
While AI assists in suggesting dialogue options and refining flow, every single line in the script is either written, rewritten, modified, or explicitly approved by a human. AI functions as a writing assistant and never as the lead author.
Video Production
Once a script is finalized, we bring the story to life using modern animation tools and custom visual elements.
Audio Narration
High-quality text-to-speech audio engines generate the spoken dialogue and narration, delivering clear and consistent character and narration voices.
Handcrafted Scenes
Every scene is custom built in our animation software, starting with its built-in library of visual assets. When a scene calls for more specific visual artwork (such as biblical scenes), we design our own graphic elements and props using other tools, such as AI image generators and graphic design software.
Personalized Animation
We never instruct AI to automatically build or edit complete video sequences. Every visual placement, camera angle, and scene transition is built manually.

Human Directed. AI Assisted.
We build our production process on the conviction that true creativity and spiritual discernment are distinctly human gifts.
AI Role
AI doesn't replace the people producing the videos; it's one of many tools we use to bring each story to life.
No "AI Slop"
We never use AI as an automated content factory. We do not use, nor do we want, a "single button" that produces videos automatically. We created this channel to walk alongside those who have doubts and to encourage people to honestly seek answers. We believe that this requires a human-led process.
Human Quality
At BibleWhy, humans maintain complete control over every stage of research, scripting, animation, and final review to ensure every piece of content is accurate, thoughtful, and high quality.
